Islam-Beka Albiev of Russia dominated Vitaliy Rahimov of Azerbaijan in the final of the Men’s Greco-Roman 60 kilogram Wrestling category on August 12.
Albiev took the first period by 2-0. He then went on to win the second period 4-0, leaving no room for Rahimov to respond.
Albiev’s best personal achievement in senior competition before this gold was a bronze medal in the 2007 World Cup.
