This article is flawed as it uses the incorrect cliche concerning the history of Taiwan "the island has being ruled seperately since 1949". This is inaccurate because it does not take into account the fact that Taiwan was ruled by Japan from 1895 to 1945. As well as missing the fact that Taiwan was ony ever briefly ruled by China during the Manchu Ching dynasty with the whole island only briefly being under Chinese rule for 10 to 15 years

There is also bias in the way the article refers to President Chen Shui-bien as being anti-China as although
he promotes formal independance for Taiwan he has stated that his quarrel is not with China or the Chinese people but rather with the lying autocratic Chinese Communist Party wich shamelessly manipulates the media for its own ends.

The sub heading "small mistake" also displays extreme bias as how can performing at the inaugeration of a democratically elected president be viewed as a mistake. This article displays extreme naivity by claiming the olympics are beyound politics as the Beijing Olympics have being used for political purpose from the beginning for example passing the torch through Tibet was a political move to promote Beijing's claim on Tibet.
